Algolia’s cartridges bring Search and Discovery to Salesforce B2C Commerce. The cartridges sync product data, category data, and content data. Product data includes price and inventory. The cartridges also power search and discovery for both Storefront Reference Architecture (SFRA) and SiteGenesis. You can customize these InstantSearch.js-based experiences to match your brand’s needs. The cartridges sync data for headless, composable storefront integrations. These integrations use Algolia’s React InstantSearch, Autocomplete, and Recommend UI libraries. The integration also works with these Algolia tools:

Compatibility

The cartridge supports these versions:
  • Salesforce B2C Commerce API version 24.x (compatibility mode: 18.10)
  • SiteGenesis controllers version 105.0.0
  • SFRA versions 6 and 7
A SiteGenesis-based site can use pipeline and controller code at the same time. The Algolia cartridge uses controllers, but it still works with your current pipeline code.
Algolia deprecated cartridge versions 23.4 and earlier (“Gen 1”) and sunset them on October 31, 2024. Upgrade to the “Gen 2” cartridges (23.5 and later) to get the latest improvements. For more information, see the release notes and the migration guide.
